Piccola Impresa / Small Business

The  Piccola Impresa / Small Business Journal aims to contribute to the study of and the spread of information on small-sized entrepreneurial firms, by offering an approachable space where those who do research in this field can freely share the results of their empirical studies and  compare their theoretical reasoning and procedures.
It is an academic journal with an international vocation, dedicated specifically to the investigation of and theoretical reflection on the administration and management of small businesses, their role in the economy, as well as the policies and regulations they face.

4th PISB Conference "Beyond the crisis: what is the future for small businesses? Challenges, opportunities and lessons learned”

 
Piccola Impresa/Small Business invites scholars to submit their original papers to the 4th PISB Conference, titled  “Beyond the crisis: what is the future for small businesses? Challenges, opportunities and lessons learned”. The Conference  will be held virtually  in Urbino (IT) next 3-4 December 2021. Thanks to the conference we would like to advance our understanding of how SMEs are preparing to tackle and overcome the current pandemic crisis and how they can effectively address, enhance and exploit policy measures at the local, national and European level (i.e. NextGenerationEU, The UK Government’s COVID-19 Recovery Strategy) in order to move successfully towards this completely renewed and challenging scenario. The Deadlines are the following:  Abstract Submission: 31st May, 2021; Notification of Acceptance: 30th June, 2021; Registration Slot: 30th June - 30th September, 2021; Full Paper Submission: 15th October, 2021.  Your contributions are welcome! Piccola Impresa/Small Business invites scholars to submit their original papers to the special issue “SMEs and human entrepreneurship overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic”. This special issue aims to advance the discussion on SMEs, human entrepreneurship, and their role during the COVID-19 pandemic and post-COVID-19. THis Special Issue is seeking conceptual (including meta-analyses, critical literature reviews, or “state-of-the-art” articles) and/or empirical (qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods) contributions which advance our understanding of entrepreneurial education and factors that can affect its effectiveness.
